The consumer journey is an important concept when designing the shopping experience.  Bathing and plumbing products can be very confusing to the uninitiated as well. With this aisle redesign concept for Lowe's, we set out to tackle a few problems: organizing the growing collection of product displays in a way where consumers could experience the products themselves, and also educate them so they could have total confidence in their purchase and minimize returns.

 

The first bay is designed as a drawer system to comfortably access each displayed product. A new shopping system and guide was developed and designed with color coordination and consumer-centric language.
